The Currence Group started out as a consulting agency founded in 2015 with the objective of providing comprehensive leadership development programs. When serving clients, we recognized the need for convenient training, resulting in the creation of our online course segment. Our online, on-demand training specializes in leadership training and education for HR professionals. Each course is designed with the intention of bringing relevant, hands-on business tools straight to the client.

Jennifer Currence is the founder of The Currence Group. She began her career with Accenture Consulting over 20 years ago and expanded into financial services, consumer goods, and non-profit organizations. She is a former professor of management at the University of Tampa, Sykes College of Business. She has been recognized as a Thought Leader by the International Society of Performance Improvement and was named the Tampa Bay HR Consultant of the Year for 2017.
Jennifer Currence is a Certified Professional Coach and member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through HRCI, and a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) through SHRM. Jennifer is a national SHRM faculty member, a regular speaker at regional, national, and international events and conferences, and the author of SHRM’s eight-part behavioral competency book series: Making an Impact in Small Business.

Margareta Grantze is the Business Manager of The Currence Group. She began her career in the insurance industry 7 years ago and expanded into higher education and leadership training. She is a 4.0 GPA Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Tampa, Sykes College of Business. Margareta scored in the top 7% of MBAs in the nation on the Major Field Test – MBA and has an emotional intelligence in the top 2% of the population. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Management as an Honors Program Graduate and has a bilingual fluency in Swedish and English.
Margareta Grantze holds the Modern Advances in Leadership Certificate. She is a lifetime member of the international business honor society Beta Gamma Sigma and a member of the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi. She is also a lifetime charter member of the academic honor society Delta Epsilon Iota and a presidential member of the National Society of Leadership and Success.
